What You Need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- 5-10 years of experience in machine or highly complex mechanical design — systems engineering or multi-discipline project experience is highly preferred.
- Mastery of SolidWorks.
- AutoCAD experience is a perk.
- A sharp, inventive mind with a knack for detail and juggling multiple projects.
- Passion for tackling technical challenges and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

The Design Engineer role will focus on developing and refining complex industrial systems with a strong emphasis on precision, execution, and technical ownership. - Engineer high-performance industrial furnace systems, including components operating in extreme high-temperature environments and specialized materials.
- Design and develop vacuum systems and industrial equipment, ensuring performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Break down complex assemblies into structured sub-assemblies and detailed components to support production and scalability.
- Perform and/or validate engineering calculations and analysis (thermal, structural, and fluid systems) to support design decisions.
- Develop detailed 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturing to move designs from concept through full execution.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges by digging into details and ensuring all aspects of the design are thoroughly vetted.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by refining existing designs and optimizing system performance.
