Position Overview

The Inventory Associate II plays a vital role in supporting inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. This role is suited for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is motivated to contribute to high-performing supply chain processes. This role is in a plant setting 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Upload and maintain receiving-related documents in shared internal files for the Ontario, CA plant and the third-party warehouses.
  • Process buyback (swap) orders using enterprise and web-based platforms, primarily for Ontario, CA operations.
  • Review and validate all buyback documentation; investigate and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with customer service and other teams.
  • Coordinate the dispatch of empty swap cylinders with distribution.
  • Support month-end inventory reconciliation activities for the Ontario, CA plant.
  • Manage returns of empty cylinders deposit credits due to customers.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in inventory control, production planning, or supply chain operations in an office environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics SL, SAP, Microsoft D365 or similar).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proactive and motivated to learn and improve processes.
