UxS Requirements Analyst at Compass Systems – San Diego, California

Job Summary:

Compass Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations SME / Analyst to support unmanned systems (UxS) requirements development and capability integration efforts for NAVSPECWARCOM N887. This role focuses on supporting the development, validation, and documentation of UxS requirements aligned with operational needs and mission objectives.

The Analyst will work closely with government stakeholders to support capability development, configuration management, and integration of emerging technologies. This position plays a critical role in ensuring UxS systems and training requirements are effectively defined, documented, and aligned with Naval Special Warfare operational priorities.

Job Functions:

• Support development, validation, and documentation of UxS requirements in alignment with mission needs
• Assist in requirements generation and validation processes, including support to SOF capability development efforts
• Support configuration management and maintenance of technical documentation and requirements artifacts
• Assist in integration of new UxS systems, payloads, and technologies into existing programs
• Develop and maintain program documentation, reports, and briefing materials
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to ensure requirements align with operational objectives
• Analyze system capabilities, performance data, and operational needs to support requirements development
• Participate in working groups, program reviews, and requirements boards
• Provide recommendations to improve capability development, system integration, and operational effectiveness

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting UxS operations, requirements development, or capability integration
• Strong understanding of DoD acquisition and requirements development processes
• Experience supporting technical documentation, configuration management, or program documentation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience supporting requirements development process (e.g. SOFCIDS or similar)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting NAVSPECWARCOM, USSOCOM, or other SOF organizations
• Familiarity with SOFCIDS requirements development and validation processes
• Experience supporting DoD acquisition lifecycle and capability integration efforts
• Experience working with UxS platforms, payload integration, or emerging technologies
• Familiarity with Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) or similar processes
• Experience supporting program reviews, requirements boards, or configuration control boards (CCBs)

• Must be able to interpret data, information, and documents
• Occasional Travel may be required. 10%
• Occasionally will need to lift/and or move up to 20lbs
• Moderate environment temperature and noise level.
