Position Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Staff Accountant who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

You’ll be responsible for key accounting functions such as month-end close, commission and payout calculations, and balance sheet reconciliations. Working closely with both Accounting and Finance teams, this role offers broad exposure and opportunities to grow your expertise across multiple systems and entities.

What You’ll Do
  • Month-End Close: Prepare and post accurate and timely journal entries

  • Calculations: Compute commissions, bonuses, rebates, and royalties in accordance with contracts and company policies

  • Reconciliations: Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly

  • ERP Transactions: Post and manage transactions across multiple ERP systems and legal entities

  • Analysis & Reporting: Assist with variance analysis and provide accurate financial reporting as needed

  • Data Accuracy: Proactively identify and flag questionable transactions or balances

  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and timely processing

  • Ad Hoc Projects: Support special projects aimed at improving processes and expanding operational efficiency

What We’re Looking For
  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

    • 2+ years of accounting experience (multi-entity and/or fast-paced environments preferred)

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

    • Experience with ERP systems such as Sage MAS 100, Sage 500, NetSuite, Microsoft AX, or Microsoft Dynamics (preferred)

  • Core Competencies:

    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

    • Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment

    • Proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement

    • Strong ethical standards and sense of accountability

    • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as a team player

    • Adaptability and comfort working across multiple systems and platforms
