Construction Project Manager Lead High-Impact Retail and Commercial Builds

Job Overview

  • Salary/Pay Rate: $95,000 per year plus Year-End Bonus.

  • HQ Location: Austin, TX (On-site/Hybrid/Remote)

  • Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, Weekends; as workload dictates.

  • Project Scope: Commercial Construction and Renovation.

  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: None Required.

The Opportunity

Youll manage end-to-end execution of diverse construction projects while leading and developing project coordinators in an entrepreneurial setting that recognizes and rewards dedication and successful execution.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Execute the entire construction project lifecycle from initial project initiation through final closeout and delivery.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, establish budgets, and set rigorous milestones for success.

  • Act as the main communication link between architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure every project requirement meets elite standards.

  • Monitor construction progress and safety compliance through project management tools and regular site visits to maintain high-quality execution.

  • Manage complex project budgets and track detailed expenses to ensure financial objectives and project transparency are met.

  • Identify potential project risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies to prevent delays or budget overruns.

  • Lead by example and foster a collaborative team environment by promoting clear communication and professional growth among all project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • 5 years of experience in the construction industry and a minimum of 2 years specifically as a Construction Project Manager.

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering commercial projects on time and within strict budget parameters.

  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.

  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field of study.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects simultaneously.

  • Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting project documentation, contracts, and financial reports.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Professional certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP).

  • Demonstrated knowledge of sustainable and green construction practices.

  • Experience in a small-business or entrepreneurial setting where multi-faceted task management is required.
