Job Summary
The Vendor Relations Manager (National Events) is responsible for sourcing, managing, and optimizing food vendor partnerships to support national event operations. This role requires a highly organized, relationship-driven professional who can coordinate vendor logistics, ensure compliance, and support seamless execution across festivals, concerts, and large-scale events.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Management & Development
- Identify, recruit, and onboard food vendors for national events
- Evaluate vendors based on quality, pricing, and event fit
- Manage vendor applications, approvals, and onboarding processes
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendor communications
Event Coordination & Execution Support
- Coordinate vendorlogisticsincluding power, water, equipment, and site needs
- Communicate event timelines, load-in/load-out procedures, and expectations
- Support overall event execution by ensuring vendor readiness and alignment
Internal Communication & Coordination
- Communicate vendor needs, details, and updates to Operations and internal teams
- Ensure all teams receiveaccurateandtimelyinformation for successful execution
- Track changes to event plans and relay updates clearly across departments
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all vendors meet licensing, insurance, and health requirements
- Maintain vendor agreements, permits, and compliance documentation
- Support adherence to all regulatory and company standards
Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide support to the Food Program Manager and broader operations team as needed
- Assistwith vendor-related administrative tasks and coordination efforts
- Maintain organized records and documentation for all vendor activity
Standards, Training, & Accountability
- Uphold company standards for vendor quality, communication, and execution
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures
- Promote accountability, organization, and attention to detail across all responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in account management, vendor relations, hospitality, events, sales, or operations support
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed
Salary
$37,500–$45,000, commensurate with education and experience.
