Floor Cleaning Technician at Superior Cleaning Services USA LLC – Cedar Falls, Iowa

Prefer at least one year of hands-on experience with carpet extraction, floor stripping, and waxing.

Days of the week - Monday to Friday - 305pm to 1135pm

Projects may require weekend hours a few times a year.

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Floor Care Technician to join our commercial cleaning team. This role is responsible for performing a variety of specialized floor cleaning and maintenance tasks, including carpet cleaning, carpet extraction, floor scrubbing, and high-speed buffing. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and is committed to providing top-tier service in a variety of commercial settings such as offices, retail spaces, healthcare facilities, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform carpet cleaning using hot water extraction and low-moisture methods
• Conduct floor scrubbing, stripping, and waxing using auto scrubbers and rotary machines
• Operate high-speed buffers and burnishers for maintaining floor finishes
• Safely use and maintain all floor care equipment and supplies
• Identify and treat stains, wear, and damage to the flooring
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Transport and secure equipment and cleaning chemicals as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and work areas
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and clients regarding work performed or issues identified
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company policies and facility regulations

• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Prior experience in commercial floor care required
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, solutions, and safety protocols
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot floor care equipment
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in a variety of environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license and transportation
• Availability for early morning, evening, or weekend shifts as scheduled
