Concrete Saw Operator at Northern Improvement Company – Fargo, North Dakota

Concrete Saw Operator will be responsible for green sawing, widening, and removals with Husqvarna riding saws. We are willing to train!

Duties and responsibilities

• Operate a concrete saw for roadway, airport, and commercial projects
• Assist in machine setup and conduct pre-operational checks of equipment
• Operate construction equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations
• Perform daily maintenance, cleaning, and safety checks of equipment
• Operate equipment in a variety of situations and environments while maintaining proper awareness of one’s surroundings
• Report need for large repairs to appropriate parties
• May be required to perform general labor duties as deemed necessary
• All other duties as assigned, delegated, or necessary for operations

Qualifications

• Mechanical inclination
• Experience in concrete construction a plus
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Travel required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment urine drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment

• Verbal, auditory, and written capabilities to effectively communicate in an articulate manner
• Clarity of vision at varying distances to perform various work assignments
• Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods of time
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of specialized tools and equipment
