About This Position

Pool Design and Sales Consultant

The Sales Associate is responsible for managing and expanding Amenity Construction Group's customer base, a pool construction and remodeling company specializing in residential and commercial projects. This role involves lead generation, direct customer communication, onsite evaluations, and sales coordination to ensure a smooth process from initial inquiry to project completion.

The Sales Associate will collaborate with internal departments, including Project Management, Marketing, Accounts Receivable, and Administration, to support company growth and maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction. This role also requires the ability to assess potential clients and ensure they align with the company's values and objectives.

This role is a commission-based only position. Many of our sales representatives are making between $70k-$100k+

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales and Customer Engagement

  • Develop, maintain, and manage lead sources to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Communicate directly with customers regarding project estimates, proposals, and selections.
  • Conduct onsite evaluations, measurements, and take-offs to prepare accurate project bids.
  • Assist customers in selecting materials, finishes, and other project details.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and future referrals.
  • Act as a gatekeeper, identifying and filtering out potentially problematic customers or deals.

Project Coordination and Documentation

  • Work with the administrative team to provide necessary permit documentation.
  • Utilize company-provided bidding systems and documentation tools to manage sales data.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Vendors, and Subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Support Accounts Receivable (AR) in tracking deposits and important financial project data.
  • Report sales performance and updates to management regularly.

Collaboration and Professionalism

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to enhance lead generation and improve sales strategies.
  • Assist in expanding the companys customer base through networking and business development efforts.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company.
  • Uphold a positive attitude and work collaboratively with all departments.
  • Complete special projects and assignments as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales, construction, remodeling, or home improvement industries preferred.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with onsite evaluations, take-offs, and project bidding.
  • Understanding of permit requirements and administrative processes related to pool construction and remodeling.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, project documentation, and bidding software is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different teams.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for onsite visits.

Performance Expectations:

  • Maintain and expand lead sources to drive consistent sales growth.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation for all sales transactions.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to project execution.
  • Work proactively to resolve customer concerns and prevent problematic engagements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and overall efficiency.
  • This position requires attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and a proactive approach to sales and project coordination. The Sales Associate is expected to continuously strive for excellence in all aspects of their role.

Working Conditions:

  • In-office attendance required for staff meetings and collaboration.
  • Flexible hours may be necessary based on scheduling needs.
