The Candidate Navigator will work collaboratively within the Talent Acquisition & Innovation Center of Excellence (CoE) to exclusively support the onboarding of C-Suite and executive-level hires across the RWJBarnabas Health system. This role is critical in delivering a highly personalized, white-glove onboarding experience for senior leaders and ensuring a seamless, confidential, and well-coordinated transition into the organization. Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition Strategy, Innovation and Executive Recruitment, the ideal candidate brings exceptional customer service skills, strong executive presence, discretion, and a passion for creating a polished and welcoming onboarding experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

As a Candidate Navigator, a typical day might include the following:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for all C-Suite and executive new hires from offer acceptance through the first 90 days.
  • Delivering a tailored, white-glove onboarding experience with a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and confidentiality.
  • Proactively identifying and resolving potential onboarding issues to prevent delays or disruptions to executive start dates.
  • Coordinating executive orientation schedules and preparing customized onboarding materials.
  • Managing procurement of system access, equipment, office space, etc. by working cross functionally with different internal departments.
  • Traveling to system facilities to support executive on-site interviews.
  • Coordinating executive interviews including space reservations, catering, travel arrangements, and preparation of itineraries or other interview materials.

To be considered for this opportunity, a bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred with a concentration in Human Resources, Business, or the Behavioral Sciences preferred. Experience supporting executive-level stakeholders or delivering high-touch customer service is strongly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage time and workload effectively are essential. The ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
