About This Role:

This internship offers hands-on experience in human resources and/or human services. You will gain practical, resume-worthy experience by working with experienced professionals and contributing to real projects. The Case Services Intern will:

  • Assist with team work through processing cases as assigned, addressing client ineligibility for services, providing guidance to address eligibility matter.
  • Support team members in education/reeducation to stakeholders on service program information, ensuring client and employee understanding of company policies related to service delivery.
  • Customer/Stakeholder Support: Initiate outreach to clients and employees to deliver policy information and draft professional written communications to stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings and share ideas.
  • Complete assignments under supervisor guidance.
  • Develop core skills relevant to the role (e.g., communication, analysis, stakeholder engagement).
  • Build proficiency in team tools and workflows (e.g., Outlook, Teams, AccraFinity, Paylocity, domain-specific apps).
  • Complete a capstone deliverable aligned to academic goals and team priorities.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in human resources, human services, or other related field.
  • Strong interest in working with clients regarding eligibility for services and ensuring compliance with program regulations regarding appropriate use of program services.
  • Good time management; critical thinking; self-starter.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite programs and adaptability to learning new software programs.
