About This Position

Do you enjoy working in the field, solving problems, and making sure every detail is just right? As a Template Technician, you’ll play a key role in turning customer visions into reality. Based in the Charleston, South Carolina region, this full-time position travels to residential and commercial jobsites to capture exact measurements and critical project details that guide the fabrication and installation of beautiful granite and stone surfaces. Your precision and communication will help ensure every project fits perfectly and is delivered on time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Template designated areas within commercial and residential jobsites.
  • Act as the liaison between the sales staff and the customer when required.
  • Work with Scheduling Team and Fabrication facility to meet predetermined deadlines.
  • Communicate with sales staff as needed.
  • Process measure information in a timely manner.
  • Have general knowledge about all facets of granite fabrication and installation procedures.
  • Expedite jobs as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze technical data.
  • Possess a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record that meets the minimum requirements of the company's insurance provider. Majestic endorses all applicable State motor vehicle regulations relating to driver responsibility.
  • Ability to read and analyze blue prints.
  • Ability to learn the company computer software program.
  • Mathematical competency
