POSITION SUMMARY

Empire Hospitality’s Corporate Housing Division is looking for an experienced Sourcing Specialist. The primary responsibility is to source and assist in securing the lease for various apartment/home types. This person must build and maintain positive partnerships with our clients and vendors.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS?

  • Search for temporary housing options.
  • Speak with Landlords and educate them on temporary housing services.
  • Facilitate and negotiate short-term leases that meet customer requirements.
  • Provide the Account Manager with housing request updates.
  • Prioritize all working housing requests, to ensure they are each touched daily.
  • Coordinate housing Move-Ins with property and internal logistics coordinator and leasing specialist.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED?

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is acceptable.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 - 5 years in Corporate Housing Industry or similar industries such as Property Management, leasing, etc.
  • Must have project management skills and be able to manage from baselining through implementation. Must have strong initiative to work independently with little guidance. Ability to pay critical attention to detail with thorough checking to maintain high quality information. Multitask and open to side projects that may not always be directly related to Sourcing activities. Problem solves with little or no direction.

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing and spreadsheets. Word, Excel, Power Point and Access.
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have good analytical skills and decision-making ability.
  • Must be able to work independently and multi-task, prioritizing as appropriate.

  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and in stressful situations.
  • Must respond to multiple task interruptions and still provide service to internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner.
