Unlike traditional debt relief options like settlement, collections, or bankruptcy, the consumer rights attorneys offer a unique and specialized service, disputing clients’ debts and helping them take control of their financial futures.

Position Summary

Our Salesforce environment is highly customized, deeply integrated with AWS, and mission-critical to our daily operations. As we continue scaling, we are seeking a Director of Engineering to lead and grow our Salesforce technical organization, elevate engineering standards, and ensure our org remains stable, secure, and scalable.

The Director of Engineering will oversee our Salesforce Administrator, Developer, and Architect teams, providing both strategic technical leadership and hands-on support when needed. This leader will shape the long-term architecture roadmap, ensure strong development practices, prioritize platform security, and foster a high-performing, collaborative engineering culture. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, highly customized environments and can balance management responsibilities with occasional deep technical involvement.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Salesforce Admins, Developers, and Architects.

· Establish a high-performance culture grounded in technical excellence, collaboration, and accountability.

· Define hiring needs, build a scalable team structure, and support professional growth plans.

· Foster communication and alignment between technical teams, operations, and organizational leadership.

Technical Strategy & Architecture Oversight

· Own the multi-year technical roadmap for Salesforce and related integrated systems.

· Drive architectural standards for scalability, maintainability, and security.

· Review and approve solution designs, ensuring alignment with business goals and best practices.

· Guide refactoring initiatives for legacy Apex, LWCs, flows, and integrations.

Execution & Hands-On Support

· Provide hands-on development or architecture support during high-priority projects or escalations.

· Troubleshoot complex system issues across Apex, Flows, LWCs, integrations, and AWS-connected services.

· Step in to support Developers and Architects when facing complex design or problem-solving scenarios.

· Oversee code review practices, testing standards, and release management processes.

Security, Governance & Compliance

· Ensure strict adherence to Salesforce security best practices, including roles, profiles, permission sets, and org-wide defaults.

· Oversee data governance, system access management, and audit processes.

· Partner with Security and Compliance teams to maintain regulatory and internal policy requirements.

· Develop and enforce engineering policies including version control, documentation standards, and code quality guidelines.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Work closely with Operations, Sales, Client Support, and other leaders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

· Ensure timely communication of technical updates, releases, and potential risks to stakeholders.

· Provide leadership during incident response to ensure rapid resolutions and root cause analysis.

· Align engineering priorities with organizational strategy.

Required Qualifications

· 8+ years of Salesforce technical experience, including deep knowledge of Apex, LWCs, APIs, and advanced data modeling.

· 3+ years leading engineering or Salesforce technical teams.

· Experience overseeing or designing enterprise-level Salesforce architectures in highly customized orgs.

· Strong understanding of AWS integrations (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, asynchronous workflows).

· Proven ability to manage competing priorities in high-growth or fast-changing environments.

· Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Salesforce System Architect or Application Architect certifications; CTA preferred.

· Experience with CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and structured deployment pipelines.

· Background in refactoring and modernizing legacy technical environments.

· Experience designing or managing multi-system enterprise architectures.

· Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance requirements.
