RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a safe and organized workplace by promoting Lean manufacturing principles and 5S practices while ensuring compliance with all safety standards and training requirements.
• Manage inventory levels to support customer production schedules while meeting company inventory targets.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for ink weighing, dispensing, and blending processes to meet color and quality specifications.
• Perform color matching and maintain accurate customer formulation records.
• Monitor and manage press returns and obsolete materials, ensuring proper documentation and disposal procedures.
• Coordinate daily work schedules and assignments for technical center personnel to ensure smooth operations and minimize overtime costs.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support for press and ink-related issues.
• Document and communicate technical concerns to the appropriate technical service representatives.
• Maintain an action tracking system for process improvements related to customer operations and ink room procedures.
• Prepare and maintain accurate manufacturing and quality control documentation, including press adjustments, downtime reports, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Support operational needs by stepping in to perform Graphic Technician duties when necessary.
• Supervise team performance, maintain employee performance records, approved timecards, and provide recommendations for promotions and compensation adjustments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience managing teams in a manufacturing or technical production environment
• Knowledge of color matching processes and formulation management
• Ability to diagnose and resolve press or ink-related technical issues
• Experience coordinating team schedules and daily operational workflows
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop technical staff
• Strong communication skills to effectively report and escalate technical issues
