The Position:

We are recruiting for a Limited Services Meal Delivery Driver to work at our Senior Center in Evans. This position will be responsible for all areas of food preparation according to planned/approved AAA guidelines; packaging; serving clients; ordering, receiving and storing supplies; completing necessary paperwork and inventory control; and maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen and equipment. A minimum of three years driving experience and a high school diploma or GED is required. At time of interview, please provide a copy of your 7-year Motor Vehicle Report.

Package and deliver meals to home-delivered meal clients, operate and maintain agency and/or state vehicles in a safe, efficient manner.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Package and deliver meals to home-delivered meals clients as assigned
• Maintain agency/state vehicles in a safe, efficient manner
• Report performance or safety issues related to vehicle to county coordinator in a timely manner
• Complete reports and other program documents as assigned
• Follow all food-safety guidelines
• Provide quality customer service to external and internal customers
• Assist county coordinator in maintaining a clean, safe facility.
• Attend and participate in training as assigned.
• Maintain a private automobile with proper liability insurance and a Georgia Driver’s License.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent and one year related experience
