About This Position
Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Testing Manager to work for our company.
Summary:
- Client Agency isDefense Logistics Agency
- Supervises a team of test specialists and manages complex,state-of-the-arttest programs.
- Translatescomplex program requirements into testableobjectives.
- Analyzes and recommends testcycle, test plans, safety reviews, and detailed testobjectives.
- Manages and works effectively with diverse organizations and personalities to execute a successful test program.
- Appliescomplex test methodologies andcompensatefor limitations and restrictions.
- Develops overall test strategy to includeobjectives, methodologies, analysis, and schedules.
- Independently assess system performance against stated requirements.
- Applies test discipline to design a thorough and executable test program.
- Leads analysis efforts to dissect output data,interface withthe client, and provide clear results and recommendations.
- Applies use cases and user stories to create test cases.
Requirements:
- Eligibility to obtain a Department of Homeland Security suitability.(Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
- Must haveaBachelorsDegree
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
- Musthave5years of relevant experience.
- Five (5) years of Oracle EBS R12.2 platform experience.
- Experience in testing software applications, including system, regression, acceptance, end to end, performance, and automation testing.
- Experience in an Agile environment. Knowledge of System Operations, Engineering, and DevOps integration.
- Experience developing andmaintainingtest cases using designated automated test tools.
- Must have detailed familiarity with commercial test environments and operating procedures.
- Experience supervising a team of testspecialistand managing complex,state-of-the-arttest programs.
- Experience translating complex program requirements into testableobjectives.
- Experience analyzing and recommending testcycle, test plans, safety reviews, and detailed testobjectives.
- Oral presentation experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.

IT-Strat has supported multiple clients including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE via both prime and meaningful subcontracts). Additionally, IT-Strat has prime contracts with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and many others. We maintain relationships with multiple large businesses.
