Position Title: Food Service Director/ General Manager

Location: Appling Healthcare, Appling GA

Salary: 70K / Bonus Eligible / relocation assistance for qualified candidates

We are seeking a Food Service Director with a solid background in Institutional Dining such as Healthcare, School or University. This role requires understanding of not only FOH and BOH operations, and employee management, but must also have experience in retail, cafe operations, and catering with top notch Client and Guest relations.

This hospital setting includes acute, behavioral, and skilled nursing patients with specific dining requirements as well as a cafe with various menu selections and retail. CDM is a definite plus!

The Food Service Director must have solid computer skills and experience using digital technology for patient ordering, POS, digital inventory and ordering systems, office systems to include Microsoft Office and digital HR systems.

Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have openings for a Rock Star Food Service Director/GM who shares our passion for Food and Service. This position is a prominent opportunity in a busy commercial kitchen and café operations setting and requires a polished and professional identity and winning attitude from a Director with experience leading a team in all operations. Experience desired in a Contract Dining Food Service setting such as Hospital, School, College, Senior Living or Corporate Dining accounts.

The Food Service Director/ GM has an overall responsibility of food service. He/She institutes company cycle menus and recipes; plans and oversees purchasing, employee personnel programs, scheduling, bookkeeping, customer and client relations; overseas the food preparation service and sanitation; and is accountable for the total operation results. The General Manager reports to Client Administration and The District Manager.

• 3+Plus Years in a Food Service Manager role (front and back)
• Knowledgeable in Retail Sales and POS systems
• Catering Management Experience
• Impeccable Communication Skills
• Restaurant Management knowledge
• Thorough knowledge of Menu implementation with stunning presentation ideas
• Team Building with strong Recruiting and Retention Program
• Technology Savvy
• Hospitality Degree a strong plus
