This role may be performed remotely within the TriState New York Area. Occasional inoffice attendance is required; therefore we are only considering applicants who are based in the Tri-State New York Area (NY, NJ, PA, CT)

Job Summary:

The Creative Studio & Distribution Team is seeking a Creative Director to lead concept development and creative execution across design, copy, and video, produced by the internal Creative Studio. This role partners closely with designers, editors, copywriters, producers, and account teams to deliver highquality creative across 360 campaigns, branded content, and internal initiatives.

You will develop and present creative concepts, write copy and scripts as needed, guide crossdisciplinary teams, and ensure brand consistency across all channels in collaboration with the CMO, SVP of the Creative Studio, and the VP of Brand & Communications.

In addition, you will be directly managing two Senior Graphic Designers, and you will report to our Executive Producer.

This is a handson role within a collaborative, highvolume Studio environment that operates within a lowbono/probono pricing model. You will be responsible for concepting, presenting, and delivering at the highest level of creative quality and aligned with the Ad Councils initiatives and mission.

Compensation:

This position is full time and the compensation for this position is within the range of $145,000 - $155,000 annually (based on experience level). The compensation package also includes an annual incentive, comprehensive benefit offerings, and generous paid time off.

What youll do:

Creative Leadership (Across Design, Video & Branded Content)

  • Lead concept development across design, video, social, broadcast, digital, and branded content.
  • Develop and present concept decks; articulate ideas clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Write copy and scripts for print, digital, video, broadcast, social, internal, and trade assets
  • Translate strategies into clear creative briefs and guide teams toward successful execution.
  • Collaborate with Studio leadership to clarify scope and highlevel timelines for requests.
  • Identify and manage external creative, design, and production partners as needed.
  • Serve as a brand steward, ensuring excellence and consistency across all Studio outputs.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative environment, including researching and testing AI tools.

Creative Studio: Design Team

  • Guide the development of campaign assets such as social graphics, banner ads, OOH, print, and web assets.
  • Oversee design for internal and branded materials including presentations, case studies, annual reports, and Annual Fundraising Dinner assets.

Creative Services: Video & Production Team

  • Concept and support production of video content including broadcast PSAs, long and shortform content, social videos, sizzle reels, branded content, and internal assets.

Branded & Internal Content Team

  • Oversee development of materials such as meeting assets, event content, website assets, case studies, and sizzle reels in partnership with the SVP, Creative Studio & Distribution.

What you bring:

  • 8+ years creative experience, with experience leading teams across design, copy, video, and integrated campaign development
  • Experience in advertising or design agencies, film/production studios, broadcast, or entertainment.
  • Strong creative portfolio demonstrating work across full 360 campaign ecosystems (design, print, copywriting, social, video, broadcast, digital, branded & internal).
  • Previous experience producing social/digital, branded creative work, both internal and campaign-facing.
  • A collaborative leader with proven ability to motivate design teams to generate exceptional executions
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate creative ideas and concepts.
  • Deep connections within the creative community
  • Highly organized, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple ongoing projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; effective working both independently and collaboratively.
