About This Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to oversee custom fabrication projects from initial client request through production and delivery. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards, while coordinating across production, sales, and client teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams
Develop detailed project schedules, timelines, and resource allocation plans
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines
Team Coordination
Collaborate with fabrication, welding, and assembly teams to ensure smooth workflow
Assign tasks and track completion to maintain production efficiency
Conduct regular project status meetings with internal teams
Client Communication
Serve as primary point of contact for client updates and approvals
Manage expectations and handle change orders or scope adjustments
Ensure high client satisfaction through proactive communication
Budget & Documentation
Track project budgets and expenses
Prepare project documentation including work orders, invoices, and progress reports
Identify and mitigate project risks
Quality & Compliance
Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and company quality procedures
Address production or technical issues promptly

3+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or related fields
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Asana, Trello, or similar)
Knowledge of fabrication processes, material handling, and shop floor operations
Excellent communication and leadership skills
