Western Health Advantage is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support the organization’s compliance and ethics program through monitoring, auditing, and oversight activities. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance processes are effective, standardized, and aligned with regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in identifying risks, supporting corrective actions, and strengthening compliance practices across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Support internal monitoring, auditing, and compliance oversight activities
- Partner with business units and subject matter experts to ensure compliance processes align with regulatory standards
- Assist in developing and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, and program documentation
- Coordinate data collection, analysis, and reporting for audits and regulatory requirements
- Track and report on corrective actions resulting from internal and external audits
- Support Mental Health Parity analysis, responses, and regulatory filings
- Serve as a liaison for internal departments on delegation oversight activities
- Identify and escalate potential compliance concerns and risks
- Support compliance communications, events, and special projects
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other privacy requirements
- Organize and maintain compliance-related documentation and records
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Compliance, Healthcare Administration, Legal/Regulatory Affairs, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in compliance, regulatory, auditing, quality, or related roles
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as NCQA, Knox-Keene, HIPAA, Covered California, or similar
- Willingness to obtain professional certification such as Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams
- Proficiency with business tools such as email, spreadsheets, and Smartsheet
