This role is a high-impact, executive-level sales position focused on transforming how leading collegiate athletic programs approach ticketing and fan engagement. You will own strategic relationships with some of the most influential institutions in the U.S. higher education and sports ecosystem, including top athletic conferences and elite universities. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders such as Athletic Directors, CFOs, and university executives, you will navigate complex, multi-layered organizations and long sales cycles. The position requires a blend of strategic thinking, commercial leadership, and relationship-building at the highest level. You will define and execute go-to-market strategies for flagship accounts while collaborating closely with internal leadership to shape product direction. This is a highly visible role where your work directly influences enterprise growth and industry transformation.

Accountabilities
  • Own the end-to-end strategy for acquiring and expanding partnerships within top collegiate athletic conferences and elite university networks, serving as the primary strategic lead for these accounts.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with Athletic Directors, CFOs, and university leadership, acting as a trusted advisor across complex stakeholder environments.
  • Lead high-value, multi-threaded sales cycles involving central administration, IT, finance, and athletic departments, aligning technical, operational, and commercial needs.
  • Define and execute strategic account plans in collaboration with go-to-market and executive leadership, contributing to long-term revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Lead complex negotiations and structure long-term commercial agreements requiring strategic foresight, persistence, and relationship management excellence.
  • Partner with internal teams to influence product roadmap decisions based on customer needs and market dynamics within the collegiate sports ecosystem.
  • Maintain deep industry expertise and engage regularly with clients and stakeholders through travel and on-site presence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-tier institution, ideally in Business, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic sales, enterprise consulting, or advisory roles (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Big 4, or similar environments).
  • Proven success managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with long sales cycles and high contract value.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage confidently with C-level stakeholders and institutional leadership.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and operate within complex industries, translating insights into credible, high-impact conversations.
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and account planning capabilities in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity and building scalable sales approaches from the ground up.
  • Genuine interest in transforming the collegiate sports and live entertainment ecosystem through technology.
