Job Title: Concrete Estimator

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (CST) Work Modality: 100% Hybrid (1 day on-site per week, remaining days remote) Location: Guatemala & Colombia ONLY (cities with site)

Job Description The Concrete Estimator will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for concrete-related scopes of work. This position supports the organization in securing profitable projects while maintaining strong client relationships through detailed cost analysis and professional proposal development.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and interpret project drawings, plans, and technical specifications.

• Upload construction documents into PlanSwift to perform accurate material and quantity takeoffs.

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for concrete, rebar, formwork, and related materials.

• Request, review, and evaluate vendor and supplier quotes for concrete, rebar, and other construction materials.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to input quantities, labor breakdowns, production rates, and pricing calculations.

• Develop complete cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.

• Prepare, finalize, and submit professional and detailed proposals in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with internal teams such as project managers, engineers, superintendents, and operations to ensure estimating accuracy and alignment with project needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in concrete estimating or general construction estimating (minimum 1 year required).

• Proficiency in PlanSwift (REQUIRED).

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (REQUIRED) including formulas, spreadsheets, data entry, and cost modeling.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.

• Strong ability to read, interpret, and analyze construction drawings and specifications.

• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet bid deadlines.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• High sense of responsibility, reliability, and integrity.

• English level: B2 written and spoken.
