This role supports the delivery of complex energy and infrastructure programs by working closely with experienced project and program managers in a highly collaborative environment. You will play a key part in coordinating project activities, tracking progress, and ensuring that schedules, budgets, and deliverables remain aligned with program objectives. Acting as a central support resource, you will help maintain documentation, facilitate communication across stakeholders, and contribute to the successful execution of critical energy-related initiatives. This position offers strong exposure to program management practices, stakeholder engagement, and large-scale infrastructure project environments. It is ideal for someone who thrives in structured yet dynamic settings where organization, communication, and problem-solving directly impact project success.
- Collaborate with Project and Program Managers to define project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation while tracking progress against key milestones and financial targets.
- Develop, maintain, and improve project documentation, processes, and procedures to ensure quality control and accurate final deliverables.
- Support staffing coordination by identifying resource needs, assisting with selection, and aligning assignments with project timelines.
- Facilitate weekly project meetings, prepare progress summaries, and communicate updates, risks, and issues to management and stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing client reports, addressing feedback, and supporting negotiations related to scope changes and project adjustments.
- Track and document project progress through logs, reports, and change management documentation while ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Identify potential risks or issues early and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required or equivalent experience; a bachelor’s degree may be considered as equivalent professional experience.
- 4+ years of experience in administrative support, project coordination, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of program management principles, project lifecycle stages, and organizational workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and basic data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in team environments and build strong working relationships.
- Familiarity with technology applications in project environments is an asset.
- PMP certification coursework or enrollment is a plus but not required.
