Job Overview

Coastal Canvas Products LLC is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of custom residential and commercial shade solutions. This role requires a construction-savvy leader who thrives on bringing projects from concept to completion. You'll manage workflows, coordinate across departments, communicate directly with clients and installation teams, and ensure that every job meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage custom awning/canopy/screen projects from kickoff through final install

  • Maintain daily communication with Sales Manager and Production Manager

  • Conduct field measurements, site inspections, and verify jobsite conditions

  • Coordinate schedules, materials, and installers to meet deadlines

  • Track project budgets, job costs, and client updates

  • Attend and contribute to weekly production meetings

  • Troubleshoot site issues and escalate solutions quickly

  • Use CAD drawings and technical specs to guide project execution

  • Maintain CRM records, project documentation, and regular reporting

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, construction, or related field

  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience

  • Background in awnings, metal fabrication, or construction is a strong plus

  • Comfortable reading technical drawings and specs

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and project management software

  • Basic CAD experience is a major advantage

  • Ability to calculate measurements and basic geometry

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities

  • Local travel required (company vehicle provided)
