Field Engineer at Fuse.Cloud – Jackson, Mississippi

Summary/Objective
The success of Fuse.Cloud is heavily reliant on the members of our technical operations team. In this role, the employee is responsible for coordinating, installing and managing all on-site customer orders. This individual will also work directly with the customer to resolve on-site technical support issues and managed services projects. This employee reports to the Director of Customer Service.
Position Status:
This position is exempt from the minimum wage and overtime provisions of the FLSA. This is a full-time position. Full-time employees are regularly scheduled to work at least 40 hours per week and are eligible to participate in all Company benefits subject to the terms, conditions and limitations of each benefit plan.
Salary:
Salary to commensurate with experience. Opportunities for salary plus bonus or commission available.
Minimum Qualifications

Educational and Experience Requirements
- Graduation from a standard four-year high school or equivalent (GED or High School Equivalency Diploma) or technical experience
- 2+ years of Telecom/Data/VoIP Communication experience is required
- CAT5E/CAT6/CAT3/Fiber Optic Cabling
- TDM or VoIP telephony networks

- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively in a customer-facing context
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage customer installations start to finish
- Provision equipment
- Install equipment, phones, routers, switches, handsets, etc. based on Fuse.Cloud Standard’s of Installation
- Pulling and terminating cables
- Test all equipment once installed for full operation
- Complete all required checklists for each job
- Upload and notate all customer information and documentation to the customer account in billing/CRM
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Must be able to travel to customer sites. Company car will be provided.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; climb; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
