The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will drive market engagement by connecting with IT and data leaders, generating qualified opportunities, and helping shape the sales pipeline. Youll be a key part of a high-performing sales team, using a mix of outreach strategiescalls, emails, and social engagementto educate and inspire prospective customers. This role is highly collaborative, working closely with account executives, sales engineers, and marketing, while leveraging modern sales tools and platforms. Success in this position comes from combining curiosity, persistence, and excellent communication skills to uncover opportunities and deliver measurable business impact. Accountabilities:- Conduct outreach to enterprise IT and data leaders using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to initiate conversations about database strategies and challenges.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads, creating sales-qualified opportunities that contribute directly to the pipeline.
- Collaborate with account executives, sales engineers, and marketing teams to align messaging, share insights, and optimize outreach strategies.
- Track and manage leads across all sources, ensuring accurate handoffs and consistent follow-up.
- Utilize CRM and sales tools (Salesforce, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to log activity, monitor progress, and report results.
- Continuously develop sales skills through coaching, enablement sessions, and hands-on practice with modern sales technologies.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the product offering to clearly communicate value propositions to prospects.
Requirements:
- 6 months2 years of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience (internships and prior SDR roles welcome).
- Passion for outbound prospecting and a hunter mentality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and executive audiences.
- Highly coachable, resilient, and self-motivated, with a drive to learn and grow daily.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple outreach campaigns and follow-ups in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools; experience with Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or ZoomInfo is a plus.
- Curiosity about technology and a genuine interest in solving customer problems.
