About This Position
We are seeking a Leasing Manager to oversee leasing operations and successfully drive the property leasing efforts by showcasing the community and providing excellent customer service to current and future residents. The Leasing Manager plays a critical role in achieving occupancy goals, leading and motivating the leasing team, ensuring excellent customer service, and implementing marketing strategies to attract and retain residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all leasing activities, ensuring occupancy targets and leasing goals are met or exceeded.
Supervise, train, and motivate leasing consultants to deliver high performance and professional service.
Conduct property tours, provide information on property amenities and services, create excitement and desire to live in the community.
Manage CRM and follow up with prospective residents, creating urgency to lease.
Respond to leasing inquiries timely and manage the application and lease process.
Track leads, generate traffic, participate in outreach marketing, execute marketing plans, think outside the box to drive leasing efforts to hit leasing goals.
Inspect vacant units for readiness, inspect marketing tour path and model unit daily.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor properties; prepare market surveys.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company leasing policies.
Assist with resident retention efforts, renewals, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
Participate in and host fun community events.
Collaborate with the property manager on occupancy reports, leasing metrics, and operational planning.
Maintain a professional, welcoming environment in the leasing office and throughout the property.
All other duties as may be assigned.
Leasing Managers will perform all of their duties in compliance with federal and state laws pertaining to the Apartment Industry and Fair Housing.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of leasing or property management experience. Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is a plus. Proficiency in leasing software (Yardi preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong sales and customer service skills. Strong marketing skills, outgoing, self-starter, creative. Excellent communication and listening skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to interact with customers in a professional manager. Pleasant attitude to all prospects, residents and associates, friendly and courteous personality. Able to build rapport, make genuine connections and create an exciting environment. Ability to communicate, read, write in English; bi-lingual a plus. Must be available to work weekends and a flexible schedule as needed.
