We are seeking a highly skilled and self‑directed Data Developer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines that integrate data from APIs, third‑party systems, and internal applications into SQL and NoSQL environments. This role focuses heavily on backend data engineering ingestion, transformation, automation, and storage to ensure that data is reliable, structured, and available for reporting and analytics. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on experience building end‑to‑end data integrations, working with APIs, and developing production‑quality pipelines with minimal supervision.

This role focuses heavily on backend data engineering ingestion, transformation, automation, and storage to ensure that data is reliable, structured, and available for reporting and analytics. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on experience building end‑to‑end data integrations, working with APIs, and developing production‑quality pipelines with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion pipelines that pull data from REST APIs, webhooks, flat files, and cloud systems.
- Build automated ETL/ELT workflows using scripting languages or modern integration tools.
- Transform and load data into SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, MongoDB).
- Develop optimized SQL (queries, stored procedures, views, indexing strategies) for high‑performance data access.
- Design and maintain data models to support analytics, dashboards, and operational reporting.
- Ensure data integrity, availability, and quality through validation, monitoring, and error‑handling processes.
- Document API integrations, data flows, schemas, and transformation logic clearly and consistently.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
- Operate independently owning pipeline development from concept to deployment.
- 3–5 years in Data Engineering, Data Development, or similar backend data roles.
- Strong experience integrating with APIs (REST, OAuth, JSON/XML payloads).
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database development.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT using tools or code (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Python).
- Experience with large datasets and performance optimization (indexes, query tuning, partitioning).
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver production-ready solutions without supervision.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Azure-based data environments.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB, etc.).
- Experience supporting BI tools such as Power BI.
- C# development experience is a plus (for API integration or backend automation).
- Python, R, T-SQL, Power Automate, etc..
- Experiencing deploying automated workflows using CI/CD or Git‑based version control.
