Role Overview
VersAbility Resources is seeking a Lead Worker – Ship Provisioning to support government contract operations in Hawaii. This role is responsible for performing provisioning and logistics-related duties while assisting with on-site team coordination and supervision.
The Lead Worker ensures that ship provisioning activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations. This position may provide shift leadership and support team oversight in the absence of the Contract Manager or Site Supervisor.

What You’ll Do
• Support ship provisioning operations, including staging, handling, and distribution of supplies
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with established procedures
• Ensure all work meets Statement of Work (SOW) requirements and government standards
• Maintain quality standards set by Government Quality Assurance personnel and internal leadership
• Assist Site Supervisors with overseeing employees and coordinating daily work assignments
• Help ensure timely and accurate completion of provisioning schedules for vessels
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment, following all safety protocols
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and proper usage
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive communication with government personnel and team members
• Follow all policies and procedures set by VersAbility Resources, the U.S. Government, and applicable regulations
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Assist team members with troubleshooting and resolving routine operational issues
• May operate company vehicles as needed to support provisioning activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or provisioning (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. independently
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Knowledge of equipment operation, safety procedures, and material handling

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Work is performed in active provisioning and warehouse environments, including docks, storage areas, and shipyard locations. Conditions may include exposure to heat, humidity, outdoor elements, and industrial settings.
This role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, and physical activity. Candidates may be required to pass background or security checks based on contract requirements.
