Job Summary:

Keeps the building and facilities in a clean, neat, and safe condition by performing various janitorial duties throughout the building and property.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis, including disinfecting bathrooms, kitchen areas, trash collection, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, replenishing supplies, etc.
• Assist with snow removal, ensuring walkways are clear and safe.
• Assist with other maintenance duties that may arise.
• And other duties as directed by the supervisor

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and the ability to use chemical cleaners according to directions.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling and disposal (will train).
• Ability to be self-directed to complete daily, weekly and monthly task.
• Good communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Standing and walking 8 hours a day
