File Clerk at Grand River Health – Rifle, Colorado

BASIC FUNCTION: The File Clerk serves as a member of the Patient Financial Services team. Specific area of focus and responsibility is routine filing, including labeling, sorting, cross referencing and retrieving files. Places documents in and removes documents from files. May be responsible for performing clerical duties including various tasks such as responding to email and telephone inquiries, processing departmental mail, preparing and processing reports, scanning documents and deposits, etc. In working as, a collaborative member of Patient Financial Services, may at time receive and provide cross training with other department members. Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0 to 3 years or relevant work experience in a similar position preferred.

SALARY INFORMATION:

• $17.50 - $20.00 Dependent on experience may vary outside this range
• Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience
