Avera is currently seeking Physician Assistant (PA) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

*This position is located in Pipestone, MN*

Job Summary

The Physician Assistant is responsible for planning, directing, and the delivery of primary health care and health education programs for the Pipestone Medical Clinic. He/She will provide primary care and health education for the age specific populations including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
• Emergency department experience preferred.

CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS

• Licensure as a Physician Assistant and ability to practice in the state of Minnesota is required.
• Federal DEA certification only is required for Minnesota employees.
• National Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) required.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday; 80hrs/2wks
