Our large, quiet labor/birthing rooms are private and located away from other patient care areas. The private patient rooms on the 5th floor Medical/Surgical Department boast views from every window.Administration, staff, and medical providers are committed to delivering high quality, comprehensive health care services to the people of the Hi-Line communities of Montana.Specialties of our active staff of doctors include Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Hematology, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Optometry, Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, Pain Management, Pathology, Podiatry, Psychiatry, Psychology, Radiology and Women’s Health.For the convenience of our patients, we also host visiting physicians at our clinics in the areas of:CardiologyNeurologyPediatric PulmonologyUrologyRadiation OncologyNephrologyEndocrinologyOptometry
About the roleThis person will be responsible for all NMHC Clinical Systems in the organization for implementation, technical and daily operations support. Accountabilities encompass: Implementation of software applications and updates. Evaluation and maintenance of system dictionaries to enhance the flow of information among the Clinical and Financial applications to improve integration. Providing detailed analyses to identify opportunities for improvement and appropriate restructuring of procedures, systems, and workflows to the facilitate efficiencies. Implementing standardization driven by federal and state regulations within the clinical software applications, including 3rd party clinical applications supported by NMHC. Preparing clinical training documentation and standard content build within the system. Providing testing environments and maintains and manages content for training. Working with and training all new providers. Leading MEDITECH super user’s meetings in providing guidance in updates, best practices, and testing scenarios. Serving as a resource person for the daily operational issues of the organization’s clinical systems.
QualificationsDegree in nursing preferred but will consider other healthcare related degrees.Must have a current license related to degreeTwo years' experience with computer information systems, software applications, providing support to users or equivalent experience. MEDITECH EMR preferred. Understanding of interrelationships of clinical databases such as Lab, Radiology, and other Ancillary departments. Demonstration of strong project management, coordinate multiple duties simultaneously, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with Windows application systems and Microsoft office Suite.Proponent for change and demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset, ingenuity, and innovative thinking and organizational skills. Must be able to communicate effectively and deal with difficult situations.Must be able to take on call (one week at a time).
