CHARGE NURSE - PSYCHIATRY at East Alabama Medical Center – OPELIKA, Alabama

• The Charge Nurse will provide direct patient care as well as supervise staff on the psychiatric unit. They will serve as a resource and a mentor to staff. Promote a culture of safety and identify areas for improvement. This person will have strong communication skills and instill a team approach and EAMC values.

• Minimum Education
  • Associates degree in nursing or equivalent.

  Required Registration/License/Certification
  • Registered Nursing license.
  • BLS and CPI within 90 days of hire.

  Preferred Education
  • Bachelors in Nursing or equivalent
• 
  Preferred Experience
  • Experience in psychiatry.
  • Recent hospital experience preferred.
