Department: Accounting Reports to: VP of Finance & Chief Accounting Officer
Job Type: Temporary Work Hours: M-F, varies, estimated 12-24 hours per week
Effective Date: January 2026 Exemption Status: Nonexempt
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Role Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for assisting Challenger Group Support’s accounting team.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· None
Essential Functions:
- Bank Reconciliations - daily and/or monthly
- Invoice process
- Processing Mail (e.g. USPS)
- AP Inquiry Assistance
- Bank Statement Download / Filing
- Cutting Checks / Mailing Checks
- Financial Statement template preparation, including supplementals
- Processing Cash Moves in Premier
- Data Entry with respect to apartment complex monthly reports

Preferred Education/Credentials/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline preferred
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
Work Environment: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
