Join our TFS/TAS Operations team in Humble, TX as a CNC Machine Operator.

SUMMARY: Responsible for producing quality parts for customer jobs, according to blueprints and/or supervisor instruction.

In this role you will be accountable for:

• Set up, operate, and monitor programs on the Trumpf / TruPunch 5000.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, or align equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Performing production activities utilizing assigned machine, monitoring individual production levels in relation to anticipated schedule hours and material requirements, and identifying problems or bottlenecks.
• Maintain/Sharpen tooling for machining (i.e., dies, tooling etc. for punch), maintain inventory.
• Complies with established safety practices and procedures, attends periodic meetings
• Performs other duties as assigned
  
  

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing (sheet metal fabrication preferred).
• Extremely Organized.
• Ability to operate a forklift as needed.
• Experience operating a Punch Press (TRUMPF).
• Ability to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings and tape measure.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations as required for layout and accurate parts fabrication.
• Interpersonal skills as required in communicating with other members of the organization.
