For over 24 years, Rhythmlink has been a fast-growing, innovative medical device manufacturer known for technical excellence, strong teamwork, and meaningful impact. As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will contribute to real engineering work including CAD design, prototyping, process improvement initiatives, documentation, and cross-functional projects that support both product development and high-volume manufacturing.
You will learn directly from our engineering team and gain hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of medical device engineering, from concept and design through manufacturing and continuous improvement. Whether supporting prototyping, analyzing designs, assisting with validation documentation, or collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams, your work will matter and will be used in a real production environment.
This role is ideal for a motivated engineering student who wants to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges, develop technical and professional skills, and make a tangible difference in a mission-driven organization focused on improving patient outcomes.
Working minimal hours during the semester and full-time during breaks, you will quickly become an integrated member of a collaborative, team-oriented engineering environment that values accountability, curiosity, and growth. If you’re looking for a nationally recognized culture, from being named one of the Best Manufacturing Places to Work, Best Hybrid/Remote Workplaces, to winning Best Places to Work in SC for the last 14 years in a row.
