Job Title: Network Administrator I

Location: Any Visionary location

Compensation: $60,000 - $72,000 / year. Final salary will be decided within the posted range commensurate with experience.

Visionary Broadband seeks a qualified individual to fill the role of Network Administrator I. This full-time position will join the team at Visionary Broadband, one of the top internet service providers in the Rocky Mountain region.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out the configuration of routing and switching equipment according to a design
• Build and turn up new circuits; primarily for our enterprise, government and commercial customers.
• Maintenance of network equipment including software upgrades, replacements, and configuration backups
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with existing IP switched and routed access networks (non-core) (including OSPF, OSPFv2, BGP, MP-BGP, LDP, RSVP and MPLS), escalate if necessary
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated customer trouble tickets
• Provisioning and maintenance of layer 2/3 customer services including DIA,L2VPNandL3VPN
• Monitor network performance to decide if changes may need made
• Participate in an on-call rotation. The rotation is typically one week per month, but can change at any time due to staffing changes
• Carry out scheduled network maintenances, which includes after-hours maintenances
• Other duties as assigned
