The Position:

The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the execution, alignment, and operational effectiveness of the company’s Marketing strategy. This role serves as a critical bridge between executive leadership, the Vice President of Marketing and the Marketing team, ensuring that strategic priorities are translated into clear plans, well-coordinated execution, and measurable outcomes.

This leader will oversee marketing planning, operating rhythms, and cross-functional alignment, driving consistency, accountability, and measurable performance across all initiatives. The Director of Marketing will partner closely with senior leadership, sales, clinical, and operational teams to ensure marketing programs effectively support growth, brand positioning, and market expansion.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure all marketing efforts align with brand and enterprise strategy by serving as a strategic bridge between leadership and the marketing team, translating business objectives into clear marketing priorities.
  • Translate marketing strategy into clear, actionable plans by establishing structure, timelines, and priorities across all marketing workstreams.
  • Ensure clarity of ownership, decision-making, and accountability across marketing initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Clinical, Operations, and other departments to develop and implement marketing campaigns, sales collateral, and field sales support initiatives.
  • Own and manage the marketing calendar while leading strategic planning cadences, including planning sessions, leadership reviews, and cross-functional alignment meetings, to ensure alignment across campaigns, initiatives, and stakeholders.
  • Utilize tools to manage workflows, track progress, and provide clear visibility into priorities, capacity, and performance across teams.
  • Develop and maintain metrics and systems to monitor, analyze, and evaluate the effectiveness of market-specific and Company-wide marketing and sales efforts, using insights to inform best practices, protocols, and training.
  • Oversee the execution and development of multi-channel marketing initiatives and content, including patient testimonials, clinical and educational materials, digital and social campaigns, websites and landing pages, email marketing, presentations, proposals, publications, sales collateral, and internal and external communications.
  • Lead, coach, and develop marketing team members and leaders, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team environment.
  • Manage all people-leadership responsibilities for direct reports, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and development planning.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred
  • 10-12 + years of marketing experience, preferably within a healthcare, specialty pharmacy, home infusion, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry
  • Proven experience supporting brand launches, program launches, or manufacturer-related initiatives preferred
  • Strong project management and operational leadership experience within marketing
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and drive results across teams
  • Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed environments
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior and executive-level stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing (digital, content, campaigns, sales support)
  • Experience managing marketing workflows and tools
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills High emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy, home infusion, or pharmaceutical/biotech marketing strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with manufacturer relationships and commercialization strategies is a plus
