Position Overview
The Electrical Apprentice assists with the installation and setup of residential home standby generator systems (Kohler and Generac). This entry-level role is designed for individuals developing technical skills in electrical systems while learning safe and efficient installation practices under the guidance of experienced technicians.

• Assist in installation of Kohler and Generac generators following manufacturer and safety standards
• Support installation of electrical components including transfer switches, wiring, and circuit breakers
• Assist with site preparation and basic troubleshooting
• Read and begin interpreting wiring diagrams and installation plans
• Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Support senior installers during inspections and job completion
• Document work performed using company systems

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic understanding of electrical theory preferred
• Ability to use general hand tools
• Willingness to learn electrical systems and installation practices
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must meet company insurance requirements to operate company vehicles
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance
• OSHA certifications are a plus
