Stock Room Clerk at Distron Corporation – North Attleboro, Massachusetts

Job Summary:

• Responsible for accurately picking and kitting materials according to work orders.

Essential functions:

• Read and interpret work orders and lists to pick components required for production.
• Organize and label kits clearly according to procedures, including proper ESD protection and moisture-sensitive device guidelines.
• Return unused or excess materials to stock.
• Perform inventory transactions in the ERP software system during picking, kitting and return to stock.
• Support production by delivering materials to the floor.
• Identify and report any material shortages, discrepancies, revisions errors, or quality issues.
• Assist with shipping/receiving when needed and prepare materials for supplier returns or RMA processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized and ESD-safe work area.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and ITAR/ISO procedures.

• Requires accuracy and accountability with inventory records.
• Ability to work independently and part as a team in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Good reading comprehension and numerical skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and processes.

Physical Requirements:

• Required use of ESD foot straps.
• Moderate noise levels and a temperature-controlled environment.
• Standing, walking, bending, and repetitive hand motions are required.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or kitting role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and follow verbal instructions in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience using barcode scanners and inventory control systems.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
