This commercial role sits at the intersection of life sciences innovation and enterprise software sales, focused on expanding the adoption of advanced mass spectrometry analytics solutions within leading biopharma organizations. The position plays a key role in accelerating digital transformation across R&D and analytical workflows by building strong, long-term customer partnerships. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts while also driving new enterprise sales through a consultative, value-driven approach. Working closely with scientific, technical, and commercial stakeholders, you will translate complex scientific needs into scalable SaaS-based solutions. This role requires a strong mix of relationship building, strategic account development, and complex deal execution in a highly specialized scientific environment. It is an opportunity to directly impact how global life sciences companies leverage data to accelerate drug development and innovation.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and expand strategic relationships within existing biopharma and life sciences accounts, identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities across R&D, quality, and analytical functions.
  • Drive new enterprise sales opportunities through a consultative approach, positioning enterprise software solutions that support mass spectrometry and analytical workflows.
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting and qualification through negotiation, closing, and post-sale expansion.
  • Collaborate with scientific consultants, product teams, legal, marketing, and implementation specialists to deliver tailored customer solutions.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, customer meetings, and events while acting as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador.
  • Capture and communicate customer insights and market feedback to internal teams to support product evolution and innovation.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of enterprise opportunities aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Ensure successful adoption and long-term value realization of SaaS-based scientific solutions within customer organizations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in customer-facing sales, business development, or account management within life sciences, biotech, biopharma, or enterprise software.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in a consultative or solution-selling environment.
  • Experience selling SaaS, enterprise software, or scientific/analytical services is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of life sciences workflows; experience with mass spectrometry or analytical development is a plus.
  • Ability to develop and execute structured sales strategies and repeatable account growth approaches.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with senior scientific and commercial stakeholders.
  • Experience leveraging digital or AI-enabled tools to enhance sales effectiveness is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional technical and commercial teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the United States.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $135,000 annually.
  • Uncapped commission structure and performance-based bonus eligibility.
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan for eligible employees.
  • Paid time off and flexible work arrangements supporting work-life balance.
  • Opportunity to work at the forefront of life sciences digital transformation.
  • Exposure to global biopharma clients and cutting-edge scientific technologies.
  • Career development opportunities within a fast-growing, innovation-driven environment.
