This strategic leadership role is responsible for shaping and delivering high-impact competitive intelligence across a fast-evolving oncology pipeline focused on RAS-targeted therapies.
The position plays a critical role in informing brand strategy, launch planning, lifecycle management, and long-range forecasting through deep market and competitor insights.
It operates at the intersection of commercial, medical, and R&D teams, ensuring that decision-making is grounded in rigorous external analysis and internal alignment.
The role requires a strong blend of scientific understanding, strategic thinking, and market intelligence expertise within the biopharmaceutical or biotechnology space.
It also leads the continuous monitoring of competitive landscapes, including clinical data, market dynamics, and emerging threats.
This is a high-impact opportunity to influence global strategy and support the advancement of innovative oncology treatments for patients with high unmet needs.
- Lead comprehensive competitive and market intelligence activities to identify trends, market dynamics, and strategic implications for pipeline and portfolio assets.
- Collaborate closely with Commercial, Medical Affairs, and R&D teams to integrate internal and external data into cohesive strategic insights.
- Coordinate and execute coverage of major medical congresses, including pre-event planning, real-time monitoring, and post-event synthesis and reporting.
- Benchmark competitor clinical data, product strategies, and business models to assess positioning and emerging threats.
- Translate complex intelligence findings into clear strategic recommendations that guide executive decision-making.
- Develop and refine intelligence frameworks, methodologies, and vendor partnerships to strengthen organizational capabilities.
- Ensure consistent communication of insights and updates to key stakeholders across the organization.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or related roles within pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
- Strong background in oncology, ideally with exposure to pre-launch or new product launch environments.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex scientific and commercial information into executive-level insights.
- Demonstrated leadership, influencing skills, and ability to manage ambiguity in a fast-evolving environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality results under tight timelines.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and improving outcomes for patients.
- Advanced degree such as a PhD or Master’s preferred, along with 10 plus years of relevant experience highly valued.
