In our time of growth, we are currently looking to add a Compensation Manager to our Denver HQ team. This is an on-site position in our downtown Denver headquarters. We are not considering relocation for out of state candidates or candidates who are not in metro Denver.
Position Summary:
The Compensation Manager is responsible for administering Frontline Road Safety Group’s compensation-related programs, payroll auditing activities, and acquisition-related compensation processes. This role ensures compensation, accuracy, compliance, and consistency, while supporting acquisitions, integrations, and ongoing wage and incentive administration. The position will initially focus on operational ownership and auditing, with an expected evolution into broader compensation analytics, market analysis, and advisory support to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage HQ compensation responsibilities, including payroll, auditing and validation.
- Audit payroll, including payroll impacts from workforce planning.
- Support certified and regular payroll during transition periods.
- Own compensation compliance and governance across the organization.
- Track, audit, and manage consultant agreements and documentation.
- Manage share tracking, auditing, and document uploads to internal folders and external system.
- Track and audit MBP (Management Bonus Plan) activity.
- Calculate make-whole compensation and track bonuses.\M&A payroll diligence analysis.
- Address compensation risk post-acquisition close.
- M&A payroll diligence analysis.
- Own and maintain wage benchmarking.
Role Evolution:
Over time, this role will expand to include compensation data analysis, market trend tracking, market analysis, payroll auditing expansion, and advisory support for offers, promotions, counteroffers, and retention packages.
Qualifications:
- 7+ Years’ experience in compensation administration, payroll, and payroll auditing.
- 5+ Years’ experience in construction payroll.
- Payroll Certification required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong analytical and data management skills.
- Knowledge of payroll/labor laws, compensation compliance and benchmarking.

COMPETITIVE PAY/BENEFITS PACKAGE
- Pay range will be commensurate with knowledge/skills/abilities but should fall in the range of $125,00-$150,000
