The company
Marketing teams spend $1.5 trillion a year on various channels and programs. And yet most of those capital allocation decisions are guided by gut feel, broken attribution, and backward-looking metrics.
Paramark helps them optimize spend across all their channels and programs. There are proven scientific ways to do this, but they are poorly understood and practiced by only a tiny fraction of teams. Companies waste millions on campaigns that don’t work, while failing to invest in critical long-term initiatives whose impact is harder to measure. Most are sorely lacking in both measurement and experimentation capability.
We’re fixing this by creating a system of action that teams will use to understand, to forecast the impact of their investments, and to experiment with new ideas. The opportunity is huge: 100k+ mid-market businesses worldwide, spending $1.5T on marketing annually, with a large chunk of that going to waste. Our target customer spends between $10M and $100M+ on Marketing annually.
We founded the company in 2023 and have strong traction. Our customers include both consumer and business brands like Square, Chime, Ramp, Rippling, Toast, Speak, and more.
We work 3-5 days a week from our office in San Francisco. We truly believe the best results come from in-person collaboration, but we also want to strike the right balance and give everyone the flexibility they need to enjoy life outside of the office. Our existing team respects the need to not have work be your life, but understands the importance of scaling a new business in a collaborative environment.
We’ve raised $8M from Greylock and several CXO-level advisors and angels from companies like Open AI, Dropbox, Salesforce, Asana, and P&G.

The opportunity
Your team
We're looking for a Growth Engineer to support our post-sales tech initiatives and reporting to our Head of Growth Advisory—who leads our customer facing teams.
  • You’ll sit on the Growth Advisory team, partnering closely with Growth Advisors and Solution Engineers.
  • Growth Advisory is responsible for turning marketing science (MMM, incrementality testing, experimentation) into real, actionable decisions for customers.
  • This role acts as the technical and operational backbone of the team — building the systems, tooling, process, and automation that allow Growth Advisors to focus on strategy, interpretation, and customer impact rather than manual ops work.

Your role
  • Build and evolve the data and automation layer that powers Growth Advisory across systems like Pylon, Slack, Zapier, Fivetran, Linear, and other internal/external tools.
  • Automate operational workflows across onboarding, solution engineering hand-off, customer deliverables, support tickets, customer-feedback, upsells, and cross-sells to reduce manual effort and error.
  • Partner with Growth Advisors to identify repetitive, low-leverage work and replace it with systems, tooling, or self-serve workflows.
  • Improve reporting for all Growth Advisory surfaces and identify key insights to improve efficiency.

You
  • You think in systems, not one-off solutions.
  • You’re motivated by leverage: eliminating manual processes, reducing fragility, and making complex work repeatable.
  • You’re comfortable operating in ambiguity and enjoy building the first version of things that don’t exist yet.
  • You care about data quality, but you care even more about data being used correctly.
  • You’re energized by enabling others — your success is measured by how much faster, clearer, and more impactful the team becomes.

Your experience and skills
  • Experience with data infrastructure: warehouses, analytics layers, ETL/ELT, and data quality monitoring.
  • Experience integrating and maintaining data flows across GTM and marketing tools (CRMs, ad platforms, experimentation systems, internal tools).
  • Ability to design and build workflow automation (e.g. ticketing, project management, reporting).
  • Comfort building lightweight internal tools, dashboards, notebooks, or UIs for both technical and non-technical users.
  • Experience creating analytics and reporting systems for GTM, sales, or customer lifecycle metrics.
  • Strong documentation instincts — you leave systems clearer than you found them.

Your interests
  • Enabling others to do their best work. Your work will directly impact how Growth Advisors operate day to day. You care about removing friction, eliminating busywork, and building tools that help smart people spend more time on high-impact thinking and customer work.
  • Creating happy, successful customers through better systems. While you may not always be customer-facing, the systems you build will shape the customer experience. You’re motivated by making our insights easier to deliver, easier to trust, and easier for customers to act on.
  • Building a thoughtful, durable company. We care deeply about building not just a great product, but a company we’re proud to work at long term. You value clear documentation, shared ownership, and leaving things better than you found them — and you’ll play a meaningful role in shaping how Growth Advisory scales.

Benefits and culture
  • Many of us have kids, family lives, and health problems to manage. We don’t think early stage startup life requires 18 hour days, or even 12 hour days. We’re intent on building a different kind of culture, one that is truly sustainable. That means reasonable working hours (we’re out of the office before 6), taking a break when we need it, and checking in with each other. Our Purpose, Mission, and Values guide us.
  • Simple Time off policy : all federal holidays plus 4 weeks of PTO per year. Health comes first, and everyone needs to take time off to recharge and rejuvenate.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance provided with 100% of employee premiums / 50% of family premiums covered.
