The Opportunity

Florence Cement Company is seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead and oversee concrete operations on active job sites. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing field crews, coordinating materials and equipment, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring high-quality project delivery.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Supervise daily concrete operations and lead field crews to ensure efficient project execution.

  • Coordinate scheduling, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to maintain smooth jobsite operations.

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and in accordance with plans, grades, and project specifications.

  • Maintain quality control across all phases of concrete construction and paving operations.

  • Enforce jobsite safety standards and promote a strong safety culture among crews.

  • Communicate consistently with project managers, inspectors, subcontractors, and clients.

  • Read and interpret construction plans, grades, and specifications to guide field operations.

  • Train, mentor, and support crew members and equipment operators to promote productivity and professional growth.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Concrete Superintendent or in a similar construction leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of concrete paving methods, equipment, and materials used in heavy civil construction.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead crews and manage multiple field operations simultaneously.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Valid drivers license required.
