About This Position
OVERVIEW (POSITION PURPOSE)
Manages, analyzes and interprets sales, inventory, and supply chain data to optimize product availability, improve vendor performance metrics, and drive sales growth. This is an independent contractor position.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS
- Analyze POS, inventory, and supply chain data using Retail Link, Luminate, and internal tools.
- Monitor OTIF, SQEP, fill rates, and on‑shelf availability; share insights with teams and partners.
- Produce weekly and monthly sales, inventory, and performance reports with recommendations.
- Support forecast and replenishment planning by reviewing item performance and shipment trends.
- Manage item setup and maintenance across Retail Link, I360, and related systems.
- Update NOVA, Aspen, and TSCP 2.0 to maintain alignment with retailer requirements.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve replenishment issues and maintain in‑stock goals.
- Conduct SKU, market basket, and category analyses to identify assortment opportunities.
- Maintain Walmart.com and Sam’s Club product content and online availability.
- Use Luminate scorecards, ad hoc tools, and Scintilla to identify performance gaps.
- Research and validate OTIF fines and manage corrective actions.
- Support creation of quotes, specifications, and customer‑facing materials.
- Investigate and support resolution of compliance, shipping, and financial deductions.
- Provide analytical and operational support to improve supply chain efficiency and product flow.
- Perform additional analysis and system updates as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Five (5) years’ sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives.
Work Experience:
- Six months’ experience in administrative role, utilizing communication skills preferred
- Experience using Kronos software highly desired
Skills and Knowledge
Language Skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer Skills
- Knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet Software and Word Processing software
