Must be willing and able to travel between 3 clinics located in Ukiah, Willits, and Lakeport on a regular basis.

MCHC is seeking a Float Temporary Patient Services Representative (PSR) to join our Dental Department. As the first point of contact for dental patients, you play a critical role in creating a welcoming, organized, and supportive experience from check-in to check-out. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working as part of a care team, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, courtesy, and warmth
• Schedule and manage patient appointments, including follow-up visits
• Verify insurance eligibility and guide patients through financial assistance options
• Assist patients with registration, forms, and use of the patient portal
• Collect payments and maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain and update patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Ensure reception and waiting areas are clean, organized, and welcoming

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• One or more years of customer service experience
• Willing and able to travel between 3 clinics located in Ukiah, Willits, and Lakeport on a regular basis

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of reception experience in a dental or medical office
• Bilingual, English/Spanish, fluent
