Role Overview
The Customer Service Manager is responsible for leading and developing the customer service team to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. This role oversees daily operations, performance standards, training, and compliance while driving continuous improvement and accountability across customer service functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and develop the customer service team, fostering a positive and performance-driven culture
- Oversee day-to-day customer service operations and ensure timely resolution of customer issues
- Establish, monitor, and enforce performance standards, KPIs, and service-level expectations
- Develop, implement, and maintain customer service policies, procedures, and best practices
- Train new team members and support ongoing development of existing staff
- Monitor customer service metrics, analyze trends, and prepare reports for leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service quality and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Manage department resources and operate within approved budgets
- Previous experience in customer service, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibility
- Strong coaching, communication, and team development skills
- 5+ years of experience in a management role
- Ability to manager a team across various locations
- Ability to analyze performance data and drive process improvements
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience developing or enforcing performance metrics and service standards
- Ability to lead change and hold teams accountable to expectations
- Proficiency with standard business software and CRM tools
- High school diploma required; additional education or training preferred
- Prior experience in pest control or related industries a plus
